Sally callander
OWNER & principal solicitor
Sally Callander is the principal solicitor & owner of DLH Solicitors & a passionate advocate for her clients.
Based in Mudgee, NSW, Sally is dedicated to providing compassionate & practical legal support.
Sally started practicing law in 2011 & was the first law graduate from her cohort at the University of Notre Dame. It was at her second job, with a Newtown firm, that Sally developed her passion for wills & estates.
In 2012, Sally moved to Mudgee & started work at DLH Solicitors.
In 2020, she established Sally Callander Law, offering a range of legal services, including family law, criminal law, wills & estate planning & commercial & business law.
In 2025, Sally returned to the law firm she has always called home - DLH Solicitors - purchasing the business & becoming the owner & principal solicitor.
Sally also holds a Master of Applied Law (Wills & Estates) from the College of Law.

Allan Hogan
CONSULTANT SOLICITOR.
With vast legal experience & a deep understanding of country life, Allan continues to play a critical role at DLH Solicitors.
Allan gained his law degree through Macquarie University, studying while teaching full-time.
In 2006, Allan became a partner in Dear and Loneragan - the business now known as DLH Solicitors.
In 2020, Allan completed a Masters Degree in Applied Law, majoring in family law & dispute resolution.
In 2025, Allan sold the Mudgee practice to Sally Callander. He continues his legal practice as a senior associate, working from both the Mudgee & Rylstone offices.
Allan’s client base reaches all sectors of the Central West, with generations of families entrusting him with their legal services.

John Loneragan
CONSULTANT SOLICITOR.
John has practised law continuously since his admission as a solicitor in the early 1990s. He is primarily a property lawyer, managing all aspects of conveyancing.
John holds both a Bachelor of Economics & a Bachelor of Legal Studies. He started his legal career at Sydney’s L Rundle Solicitors before returning to Mudgee & joining Dear & Loneragan Solicitors - now known as DLH Solicitors.
Initially, John was employed to represent clients in criminal & family law matters. As the practice grew, John embarked on expanding the firm’s conveyancing arm.
John sold his partnership in DLH Solicitors in 2006 & was retained as a consultant solicitor. He continues his consultancy role in the new-look firm, helmed by Sally Callander.
John has retained many of his long-term clients & continues to work in conveyancing across all aspects of residential, commercial & rural property.

Megan Brown
PARALEGAL.
Megan brings more than 12 years’ diverse legal experience to DLH Solicitors. Currently studying law, Megan will become a licensed conveyancer in 2025.
With more than a decade of experience in private practice, Megan has worked alongside Sally Callander since 2022, ensuring all legal matters run comprehensively & efficiently.
Megan is committed to providing thoughtful & effective legal support, ensuring that every clients’ needs are met with care & professionalism.
In 2025, Megan was named as a finalist in the Outstanding Employee Category at the 2025 Western NSW Business Awards.

Catherine Flack
PARALEGAL.
Cath has been part of the DLH Solicitors’ team since 1983.
She took time off paid work in 1990 to raise her four children, before returning to DLH Solicitors in 2006.
Having worked for DLH Solicitors for more than 17 years, Cath has acquired significant knowledge in many areas of the law, including conveyancing, family law, wills and estates & overseeing the smooth running of the office.
Cath is a proud Mudgee local - she enjoys spending time with her four children, two grandchildren & two blue staffy dogs.

Lisa Marzolla
PARALEGAL.
Lisa has been working in the law for the past seven years, trading a career in bookkeeping & office management for work as a paralegal.
Lisa joined DLH Solicitors in 2018, focusing on wills & estates, before leaving to help establish Sally Callander Law, where she was employed as the practice manager for several years.
Lisa returned to DLH Solicitors, bringing her skills & professional, compassionate approach to her work.
Lisa loves living on the land & farming with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family, walking, travelling, reading, gardening & spending time with friends.
